What was the best part about using HubSpot CRM?
HubSpot CRM is an incredible free customer relationship management tool provided by HubSpot which is most popular for their paid inbound marketing platform. Hubspot is one of my favorite companies for good reason. They are the authority for inbound marketing here brilliant business model offers so much value in terms of free software such as their CRM and a basic version of their analytics tool called Sidekick, to leading edge information and education based on the dozens of whitereports I've downloaded over the years. The community itself is very helpful and vibrant too. The CRM itself is completely simple to understand and intuitive to use. I've surveyed almost three dozen CRM's during a few research phases over the last couple of years and this is the simplest. It's almost deceptively simple because you expect a most customer relationship management software to be cumbersome in some way, because of the sheer amount of complexity and organized required within a single dashboard. It's not even remotely an issue in the Hubspot CRM, in fact, it's the opposite which definitely differentiates this CRM solution in their market. You can create custom data fields easily which is awesome and important in any CRM when importing contacts from a CSV with particular table configurations. It's a quick software with a consistently great page load times. When you click a check box inside your Gmail account it automatically connects this organization and business information for each email domain in your CRM contact database. And you also can import contacts quickly from CSV while using custom fields, if necessary. You can also integrate your Gmail or Outlook email accounts into your account with emails logged directly into your CRM. This is a strong feature which makes this much more of a sales tool than more conventional CRM tools. There are several integrations available like SalesForce, GoToMeeting, Wistia, Wordpress, SurveyMonkey, Zapier, Google Calendar, EventBrite, UberConference and their Sidekick for calling. You have the ability to add team members to your CRM. You simply invite them and apply the correct permissions. I like the ability for team members to view contacts and deals they own in the account. This keeps reps focused and on track while allowing myself as admin to have access to all reps data from within a single dashboard and central account. The HubSpot Sidekick for Business Calling integration is awesome. You can enable click to call people in your sales pipeline directly from your dashboard while enabling recording of your calls. This is especially useful for training purposes and integral to any high quality sales team. The fact that this is included in your account is simply outstanding. The learning curve when using HubSpot CRM is extremely low which is great because it allow you to bring people onboard and get selling quickly rather than investing time and money into training that can take days or weeks, this CRM can become a part of your workflow efficiently within a day or two no problem.
What would you change about your experience with HubSpot CRM?
There isn't any internal communication functionality available using HubSpot CRM. Though there is the UberConference integration possible to enable this option. BaseCamp 3 is one of my new favorite project management tools. It would be cool if HubSpot CRM integrated with this tool as well. There's still room for further enhancements and features to this CRM. But it is still relatively new and knowing HubSpot they will continue to add value to this software. The fifteen minutes available free with the Sidekick for Business Calling add-on which can be seamlessly enabled in your dashboard is appreciated but seems slightly low in order to perform thorough testing in my opinion. But you can always upgrade to the premium business Sidekick account for one thousand minutes per month and a whole lot more features included as well.
Overall Feedback
The HubSpot CRM free plan offers an massive amount of value as a CRM solution. There are other free CRM's in their market but this one is by far the easiest to learn and begin using quickly. It's got all of the functionality of premium CRM's built in, including the visual sales pipeline which allows you to see how deals are progressing. In fact, there are many paid CRM softwares in the market that don't have all of this functionality like the ability to import from CSV using custom fields. I'm onboard with this CRM. It's easily my favorite after a good amount research into the market so far. I would highly recommend this software to anyone looking for amazing free value with the opportunity to upgrade should you need it because you're company is growing. But with this much value and functionality offered your saving important cash flow for other purposes which help get your business to the next level.
