Work for xTuple? Manage Profile
April 25, 2016
Very good question, thanks--timing depends upon many things--the most important being the company's focused participation in the implementation. If actively involved, a standard implementation should take between 3 and 6 months and includes:
• Cloud setup (if applicable)
• Database installation and configuration
• Importing existing customer/vendor (including CRM setup)
• Item/Inventory setups and imports (including training for future imports)
• Configuring GL/Chart of accounts
• Configuring inventory
• Creating/building forms (including training for future use)
Each step includes a period of customer review and piloting to arrive at the proper configuration/import for your business.
Also, xTuple does provide a broad range of assistance--see the Professional Services section at: https://xtuple.com/products/support-and-consulting
How much time does it take to set up xTuple? Do you provide any implementation assistance?
