What was the best part about using Looker?
I really like on looker the ease of creating things, the learning curve is quite easy and fast. The empowered system makes data available to intern customer has never been so easy. One of best things that I enjoy the most is the fact that is very handy to developers and makes it possible to develop a strong data model on top of existing personal data sets.
What would you change about your experience with Looker?
There are some small issues with Looker, and that is that is difficult to edit a model once in place. Data visualization and dashboard features are not as strong as I thought they will be. Lacking global filtering and templates dashboards and this should be a must. Setting up temporary data caching to prevent load on core database is also difficult.
Overall Feedback
Overall I think Looker is a great fit for tech-savvy businesses, including advertising, banking, construction, education. Companies that want to maximize the value of the large amounts of data they are collecting should put Looker on their list. Looker provides business teams the ability to easily analyse supply chains, market digitally, quantify customer value, interpret customer behaviour, and evaluate distribution processes.
