Zoho SalesIQ

Zoho already had a Live Chat app, however, it is very limited in the features it can offer. Instead of upgrading Live Chat, Zoho has decided to launch a new application, SalesIQ. SalesIQ combines visitor tracking and live chat into one software. SalesIQ is a sale as well as the support tool. Once you have implemented the code on your website or pages you want to track, you can monitor the visitors from SalesIQ panel. Based on the time spent on a particular page, you can then either automate the chat popup offering help or you can manually target any visitor and invite them to chat. Passively SalesIQ chat option will sit in the corner or bottom of your page and the visitor can choose to engage in live chat themselves. The chat tool is rich with features like file sharing, IP blocking, transferring the chat to other agents and option for the customer to email transcript to themselves. In the backend, the managers can monitor these chat and give feedback wherever required. The tracking feature will provide you information about the visitors like geography, time on site, pages visited or new vs returning customer. If integrated with Zoho CRM, you can convert the chat into leads and contacts. It will also alert you if a particular lead assigned to you is visiting any of the tracked pages.

Unlike other Zoho apps, this one is not priced for masses. It's an Enterprise tool with the price for one user license at $12/month. Although it supports chat software using Jabber protocol which can be used for mobility, a mobile app developed by Zoho is not available currently. The customer support team for this Zoho product seemed to be more intrested in selling the product rather then addressing the concerns.

No doubt SaleIQ is an intelligent system that will boost your sales by providing additional information about customers to your sales team. It is priced on a higher side and not many Businesses will be willing to invest that much in a chat system. I negotiated with the Sales rep from Zoho for pricing but they were not willing to come down anything from the usual 10% discount you get on annual purchases. You can try the product for 14 days and definitely upgrade if it suits your needs. But, I highly doubt Zoho will find takers outside of customers who use Zoho apps already for their business.
