What was the best part about using SAP CRM?
SAP CRM is an customer relationship manager which is based in the cloud online. It was easy to sign up and get going once I landed on the correct page. They have many offerings and it was eye opening to learn just how big SAP is. This software is designed to help you close more deals ultimately by enabling your entire team to be on the same page in regards to comprehensive access to customer data and relevant engagement and communication required to close the deal.
I've been reviewing several different customer relationship management softwares on the market as we've just launched our new product line will be scaling this up so a great CRM will be required in the next few months. I see how popular SAP CRM is and you want to expect that it is outstanding for it's quality and value for the end user judging by the majority of reviews which are positive.
What would you change about your experience with SAP CRM?
I had several minor issues trying to retrieve my trial account and get it going. None of this was a big deal but as I am awaiting another registration confirmation email what am I going to do, here I am writing about my experience directly. I appreciate the value of the trial but perhaps it shouldn't take several attempts to try it out. I just tried to sign up to read their Forrester report after signing up twice already, once for their main site, once for the cloud trial, and while attempting to sign in to read it the screen simply refreshes and does nothing. When I go to sign up again it recognizes my business email address which I've just signed up with so that's unfortunate but what are you going to do but write about it perhaps. Oh, there is my trial email just in time to complete this paragraph. Now let's learn about this CRM.
Wait, that was much too quick of a response. Of course the URL in my email to my trial account results in a web page not available error. There is simply nothing available at the domain URL they sent to me after signing up twice. Meanwhile, I am trying to sign up for Forrester report using another legitimate business email, not a Gmail or Yahoo account or anything but my branded business, and the password field likes my second password but it doesn't like my first. And they are the same. I just made certain by doing it slowly three times but I can't see it obviously to know for sure. So I've changed passwords and about to hit go. It worked. Thank you SAP. Definitely see the value in the report and can say it was worth the thirty five minutes. Now as for that CRM trial...
I just tried to use another branded email of mine, a different domain to sign up to see if I can enable a successful trial finally. But I went through the exact series of mishaps and glitches. After you click to verify your SAP account email, that's the first registration required, it doesn't process by itself it goes to a blank screen. After you click the link again in your email it will go to a screen with their website. Click the 'Log On' button in the top right corner and it will finally authenticate your main account. And then you can proceed to pay for your trial which is free. There are a couple screens to click through first but you'll get there. After you pay for your free trial simply wait about ten to twenty minutes and check to see if your exciting trial activation account details have arrived. Let's have a check now. Oh there's an email now, wait a minute it was just the receipt for my free trial. There's a page with all sorts of code hanging out it's a little embarrassing but there's a PDF attached after you scroll down to the bottom of your Squirrel Webmail. There's no option to view the code I'm referring to in HTML or an option like this. But that's okay, let's go check for our Trial Activation email again. Seventeen minutes later the Trial Activation email arrives and the result is the same. Nothing there when you click the link but a blank screen stating it's currently empty. Specifically this: 'This webpage is not available DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN'
Overall Feedback
I get why this CRM may be so popular it's very robust with massive configuration options including advanced workflows and other customization options. I would love to share with the world how great it is but I just wasted over an hour of my life attempting with two different valid business emails to use their trial both with the same disastrous results, so I am quite confident this is not an end user issue as I have been very diligent at monitoring and documenting the whole situation. And in this could never justify giving significant recurring revenue to a company that failed to create the initial trust enough to consider picking up the phone to speak with their rep, or just signing up once the trial is complete. It's just not ever going to happen out of principal. But I wish those of you who've had a smooth experience with SAP CRM only the best.
