What was the best part about working with ConnectIt?
Having built the first ConnectIt tool back in late 2005 which transferred information from QuoteWerks into Sage 50 Accounts (UK version) now I wouldn't be without it (and several other utilities we have built since). I can't even begin to imagine how many man hours it has saved us over the years - not only in copying information from one system to another but also in correcting the inevitable mistakes due to human error.
Since then we've built lot more utilities, add-ons and bespoke solutions from the ground up and have a massive array of various code modules which help us to make very light work of any new development projects we do.
What would you change about your experience with ConnectIt?
Trying to deliver solutions in a cost-effective but wholly robust way. With the increasing availability and (arguable) competition from contractors on sites like elance (now upwork), fiver, etc. it can be difficult for prospective clients to understand why a solution can sometimes (but not always!) cost much more than they anticipate. We will however point out the benefits of working with a professional team that have successfully delivered 1,000s of projects that understand their requirements from a business and User perspective, and that will still be there weeks, months and years after the solution is delivered to support them in they have queries.
Overall Feedback
Owning the company behind the brand and having coded many of the solutions myself, I am obviously more than a little biased on the benefits of our solutions and the quality to which they are built. However, when prompted, even if they choose not to provide us with a review on this site, I can guarantee that we have many, many happy clients using our software in their day-to-day work. If you are interested in our solutions and/or software development services, then give me and the team a ring - you'll find us friendly, down-to-Earth, honest, professional and knowledgeable bunch that won't bamboozle you with jargon.
