What was the best part about using Microsoft Dynamics CRM?
Hard to pick one thing - I love the comprehensiveness of Dynamics CRM. There are features for sales teams, marketers, call centers, support teams, and management. It is easily configurable by end users, and you can customize what you see on your screen very quickly. Also the reports are great, including dashboards and lists that you can use to analyze your client base, pull prospect lists, use for email marketing, etc. It's a one-stop-shop for everything you need to do.
An amazing tool that comes free with CRM online is the Insights feature that lets you check a button and follow companies. You will get news feeds on that record, every time they are in the news. With zero effort on your part. If you were paying a service like Hoovers or Onesource, it would cost you $500 a month or more for this feature.
What would you change about your experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM?
Microsoft has pushed everyone towards the online version, and if you go that route, you lose the access to the database, which is a deal-killer for us. So we are still using the on-premise version. There are several really nifty features that are only available in the online version.
