What was the best part about using ADP Vantage HCM?
What I like best about Vantage is that it is a one stop shop, you have one login to do everything they need within HR and Payroll. I get a platform to view, download in PDF Format of my Earning Statements, W2 Forms, Adjusted Earnings in one single screen. The system is user-friendly and even the occasional user can manage to navigate it easily. Also, the functionality is paperless which is an important point.
What would you change about your experience with ADP Vantage HCM?
I wish the platform was even more flexible. It is configurable of course, but it is not necessarily customizable to the full extent an organization may desire. Besides, I would also like to see an enhancement in the user audit capabilities. It's absolutely necessary to see who made a change, what the change was and when it was made, but unfortunately, not all the fields are now available to be audited, and those that are require a report to be run to see the audit trail. These are just wished, not some serious problems, of course, and I'm sure they will introduce these options in future upgrades.
Overall Feedback
When we switched to Vantage in 2013 it really helped us to reduce the number of people touching the payroll entries, by placing the entry process directly with the project managers. By doing it we managed to put the entry and approval process out to the field with the direct managers of projects. Besides, we became capable of bringing our employees directly into the process of handling their payroll taxes, direct deposits, and benefits enrollments. What's appealing about the service team is that you always have the same service person when you call or email in, thus ensuring consistency of support and increasing efficiency. Vantage makes you feel like a true partner rather than just a client. They really listen to what customers have to say about the product, which results in its continuous improvement to meet all the needs.
