The downside I see with Powerpoint is its limited animation feature. Well, I ain't actually thinking about too much animation as it like shapes and texts would be moving every other minute. I'm expecting to see more flexibility on the tool such as when I post a sentence in the presentation, I could emphasize a certain word and setup few animations for that certain word to be retained in my viewers' mind.

I am and will always be an avid fan of Powerpoint (and other Microsoft offices actually) Just with the pricing though, I know Powerpoint is such a powerful feature, but I would love to see a much cheaper pricing package for these tools specially for students, non-profit orgs and other groups of minorities who just can't afford it.

PowerPoint being a Microsoft product is itself a big advantage. Making presentations in PowerPoint is truly trouble-free and quick. For Professional Presentations, it is a very commendable option. I don't find anything problematic in MS PowerPoint while using it. Making various slides is quite an easy task on it for both professional and personal purposes. What I find disheartening is that it is just too simple. Some changes and upgradations should be made according to the time. But it still looks same as it used to be in my school and college days. I need some improvements as I m now using it for professional presentations. Some more new features and animations should be added. If the software does not improve its visualisation and does not add some new latest features, I doubt it will lag behind in the presentation software popping up in the market these days.

I have personally tried many other presentation software available but I did not find anything as simple and convenient to use. Though the old look and all same functions and features since a long time are quite disappointing, but then there is nothing as reliable as it too, making it my first priority. Even my 10-year-old nephew like to make slides on it. I hope they add new features so that I can make the best use of it and make my presentations look more professional and attractive.
