What was the best part about using OfficeMA Timesheet?
I was trying time tracking apps recently and this was among them. It's multi-user and cloud based which is great for access across all devices via their web app. There are also native iOS and Android apps available which make it very convenient as a remote time tracking app. In addition, there are Google Chrome and Firefox browser extensions available as well. This software also has the task and project management features which represent the services you offer clients as well assignable tasks within each. You can utilize timesheet overview invoice based tracking or fixed price projects tracking. There are user roles with varying privileges including administrator, limited user and accountant. Admin users can view all details pertaining to all roles, delete users, add new users as well as import them via CSV or export them into CSV and PDF easily. You can update business details, address and logo and format the currency based on location and I appreciate that it's very internationally friendly. Projects and tasks can quickly be edited, deleted, added, viewed and imported or exported as well. Reporting is highly visual and easy to digest a high level view of all users, projects, and tasks.
What would you change about your experience with OfficeMA Timesheet?
The software doesn't capture screenshots, keylog strokes or URL's which is best for my self as a web based contractor. And I ran into issues with the Chrome extension initially. I had logged out of my personal Gmail but it insisted on logging me into this account which was not the business Gmail I had used to sign up for my account. When I clicked the Clear All Login Details button it did not do so. When I entered the correct login details manually it seemed to work but when I clicked the extension button it stated the login details were incorrect though they were not. Though a relatively minor issue, after I cleared my cache and cookies and restarted my computer everything worked fine but this didn't make a great first impression and made it more a hassle than I would have liked knowing this would likely occur again as use both Gmails frequently.
Overall Feedback
There is a free forever plan included with this timesheet tracking and project management software for very small businesses which I greatly appreciate. Features such as the billing are very flexible with visual reporting which can be exported as well making it multi-purpose along with multi-user. Pricing for additional users is very fair as well at approximately just under two dollars per user, per month. That is substantially lower than the other time tracking services I've tried. Though because it does not capture screenshots, keylog strokes and URL's it won't suit my work as a web based contractor as much another tracking software. But I will highly recommend it to others who need a remote timesheet tracking and project management tool.
