What was the best part about using Quality Center?
Quality Center is able to manage each step of the application testing process, including developing of test requirements, plan testing, implementation of the test, analysis of the bugs and tracking defects, that's what I enjoy best about the platform. Its ability to upload data from Excel spreadsheets is time-saving. Also, both manual and automatic testing is possible.
What would you change about your experience with Quality Center?
I would say the learning process, in the beginning, is a bit hard and complicated, but that's typical for any software, especially if you are not tech-savvy, so it's not a flaw actually. Also, I find it difficult to track defects as they are not connected to test cases, and unfortunately, there have been long waiting times when I needed technical support.
Overall Feedback
I think Quality Center is a great tool for any organization. We've been using it for two years now and are highly satisfied. Having all the project documentation in one place saves us tons of time. The system is flexible enough to be customized and fit all your needs at a reasonable and competitive price, though some may say there are cheaper options. Using Quality Center you'll be able to focus more on your products instead of organizing issues as the system provides you with one central location for all project documentation and ensures efficient management of project tasks. The reports Quality Center provides are precise and detailed.
